In My Mailbox- out of control (26)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.  It gives people a chance to show what they are excited about receiving.

This week is actual 2 weeks in one and it is a little out of control.  Not only does Chapters have it's Buy 3, Get the 4th Free, I also had a lot of books come in from the library that I put on hold.  Anyhow, here it goes:

Library Stash:
I have heard nothing but good things about this one

I loved all her other novels so I am sure I'll love this one.

I love Sex and The City so I'm hoping I'll like this one

Another Dessen audiobook for the car- this will be the third.

I saw the movie and I'm curious to see how true it stayed to the book.

I loved The Memory Keeper's Daughter so I hope this one is just as good.

I saw this on someone else's IMM and thought I'd give it a try.

This one just sounded amazing.

Another one that I got b/c of someone else's IMM

I love Top Model so I thought I'd see what this is all about.

I either love or hate Nicholas Sparks' books so I'm curious about this one.

I just finished The DUFF and I really enjoyed it so I want to read more by Kody Keplinger.

This is Hopkins' first adult  novel and I really enjoy her YA stuff.

Bought:
This is a book club pick that I can't wait to read!

This was on the bestsellers list for a while.

They talked about this book in Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress and I wanted to read it for myself.

YAY!!! I have been waiting to find out what happens for far too long!

This is for an author signing I'm going to in April.

Again, another IMM find.

It's a classic and I figured I should read it.

Another book for an author signing this week. I've already read it and while I detest the cover, the book is fantastic!
The next bunch of books, I got for free with some Bonus Bucks that I get for doing Scholastic's Book Orders in my classroom:

It's the Maze Runner- enough said.

I got the whole Percy Jackson boxed set.

Well if you made it to the end kudos to you.  This has been a slightly out of control week for me and my husband may have given me a look on more than one occasion when he saw me coming into to the house with more books.  I can't wait to see what you got in your mailboxes.

Happy Reading!

  5. Funny how we both dislike that cover, but I'm glad you liked Charles de Lint's book. I'm adding it to my wishlist.

    1. Ya it was a great book but as I said I hate that cover. I don't know why some YA covers have to be so cheese bag

  10. Wow that's a lot of books-and some great looking ones in there too. :) I just started delving into YA and want to check out the James Dashner books. Loved The Stand, Hugo Cabret, and the 400 pgs of Count of Monte Cristo I did manage to read before having to return it to the library. Happy reading!
