Top Ten Tuesday: Movie wish list

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish weekly.  This week's edition is top ten books I wish were made into movies.

Now, there are several books that I think would be great movies but I'm always hesitant because most books are better than the movies.  They often change endings, take out key elements, or just overall butcher some of your favourite stories.  I write  my list pretending to that we live in an ideal world that make perfect movie adaptations of books that I love.

Well there they are.  If you haven't read any of these novels then you should go out and read tehm ASAP.  Happy Reading!

  1. Looking for Alaska (and any of John Green's novels) would make a great film! Great list!

  2. "The Art of Racing in the Rain" is one of my favorite books! I went a slightly different way with my list (books already being made into movies that I'm looking forward to) but if I'd done the original prompt it definitely would have been on there!

  3. I've heard great things about Golden Boy! Night Film sounds like it would be a super creepy adaptation! ARGH I haven't got to reading The Storyteller yet.

The Book of Negroes was very good, and it's actually being made into a TV show by the CBC I think!

    My TTT list!

  5. I chose Arranged, too! It was actually one of my cheat ones because it's going to be made into a movie soon (I think a short film...can't remember details).
